Mark your calendar for our upcoming events for the 2026-27 school year. Check back often as we’re always adding fun new activities!
YEAR-ROUND
Daniel’s Sentry Food (Walworth) Receipts
Ask for the “green sticker” to be added to your receipt at checkout. Send your receipt to school with your child or drop it off at the office. The PTSO will collect the receipts and turn them in to Daniel’s. Our school will receive 1% of the total from all receipts collected. An easy way to support both our school and a local business!
AUGUST
Back to School Open House (1st – 8th grade) | Thursday, August 27 | 5:00-6:30 PM
After Back to School Night, join us at Meggy Moo’s for dinner and ice cream! Let them know you’re with Fontana School, and a portion of sales will be donated back to our school.
SEPTEMBER
LOL (Lunch With Loved Ones) | Friday, September 18
Students will have the opportunity to invite a special loved one to lunch at school. More information will be coming soon!
OCTOBER
Fall Fun Fest | Thursday, October 22
Our biggest event of the year is already in the works! Come to our first PTSO meeting on September 2 to hear what we’re planning and get in on the fun. This annual fundraiser and community tradition is open to the public. Come in costume for tons of games, bouncy houses, raffles, silent auctions & dinner!
NOVEMBER
Treats For Troops | November 2-6
Our annual candy donation and letter-writing competition to our troops and vets. This is a friendly class competition to see who can donate & write the most!
DECEMBER
Crafty Critters | Friday December 11
Another Fontana tradition! PTSO members, parents, teachers and older students help our younger students make handmade gifts they can give during the holidays.
